Climate Emergency Fund specializes in identifying and supporting promising new movements in their earliest stages—sometimes even before they exist—operating akin to a “venture philanthropy.” Many of the most prominent climate groups in the world received seed funding from us, including Just Stop Oil, the A22 Network, Climate Defiance, Scientist Rebellion, the Citizen’s Arrest Network, Planet Over Profit, and more.

The A22 Network
The A22 Network, which includes Just Stop Oil, Letzte Generation in Germany, and over a dozen other projects around the globe, launched in 2022 and achieved unprecedented success in breaking through in the media with at least 3 campaigns winning their core demands.
Planet Over Profit
Planet Over Profit (POP) is a youth-led climate movement based in New York. Their combination of economic climate populism and bold tactics propelled them to major success. POP played a key role in the Summer of Heat on Wall Street, a months-long protest at the Citibank headquarters in New York, which led to promises of fossil fuel divestment from NYC’s pension fund.
